NYRB’s De Rosario named in Canada’s CONCACAF Gold Cup squad

New York Red Bulls star Dwayne De Rosario has been named in Canada’s squad for this summer’s CONCACAF Gold Cup.

The former Toronto FC star was included in head coach Stephen Hart’s 23-man squad which will take on the USA, Panama and Guadeloupe in Group C of the 2011 tournament with their games being held in Detroit, Tampa and Kansas City.

Canada play the US on June 7, Guadeloupe on the 11th and Panama on the 14th. Prior to the Gold Cup, Canada will meet Ecuador in a friendly at Toronto’s BMO Field on June 1.
