New York Red Bull have replaced general manager Erik Soler with French-born businessman Jerome de Bontin it has been confirmed.
The former interim president of AS Monaco has been brought in to oversee the Red Bulls' business operations as Soler steps down to become an internal advisor.
De Bontin will be used to reassess the Red Bulls' spending on top players as the MLS giants attempt to win an elusive title.
