NYRB to receive two-thirds of Bolton's purchase of Ream

New York Red Bulls will receive two-thirds of the money that Bolton Wanderers pay for defender Tim Ream.

The 24-year old USA international has obtained the work permit required to make the move to the UK with a deal worth around $3million set to be complete soon.

The NY Post has revealed that around $2million of that will go to New York who have the ability to use up to $650,000 of that as allocation money within the next three transfer windows.

The remainder of the money received must be used on such things as scouting, training facilities, academy costs, and Designated Player salary.
