New York Red Bull have announced the re-signing of midfielder Lloyd Sam.
The 28-year old Englishman, who joined the Red Bulls from Leeds United in August last year, has signed on for the 2013 MLS season as he recovers from a knee injury which prematurely ended his 2012 campaign.
"Lloyd showed our team and fans at the end of last season that he has the potential to be a very good player for us," said Red Bulls sporting director Andy Roxburgh.
"We are happy to sign Lloyd, who is recovering well from his knee injury he sustained last year. He will be fit for preseason."
