NYRB purchase Conde’s MLS rights from Chicago Fire

Wilman Conde is set to saddle up with New York Red Bulls this season after the club bought his rights from Chicago Fire.

The 29-year old Colombian defender left the Fire to join Mexican club Atlas last year but is on the brink of returning to MLS after a competition source revealed to Big Apple Soccer that the rights had been purchased.

Conde was keen to join New York back in 2008 when fellow Colombian Juan Carlos Osorio was in charge and now he finally gets his wish after a deal could not be sorted back then.
