New York Red Bull has officially appointed Robin Fraser as the clubs new assistant coach.
46-year old Fraser has been added to Mike Petke's coaching staff after the 37-year old got the head role last week with Red Bulls sporting director Andy Roxburgh welcoming his arrival.
"Robin Fraser is a class act. I think he'll be an outstanding addition to our management team," Roxburgh said in a statement.
"First, he has the experience of MLS as a player and then as a winning assistant coach. He also had the opportunity on the front line as a head coach. He will bring an enormous amount of enthusiasm, knowledge and coaching acumen to our club."
Former USA international Fraser spent time as assistant with Real Salt Lake between 2007 and 2010 before taking the reins at Chivas USA for the 2011 and 2012 MLS season.
