New York Red Bulls have issued a statement regarding recent reports of Tim Cahill's imminent move to the club.
The Everton star has reportedly agreed a $1.55million deal with the Red Bulls with a report on the Toffees' official website stating that he is about to agree personal terms and undergo a medical.
However, New York says that any suggestions of a deal already with the Australian midfielder being agreed were 'premature'.
"We are aware of Everton's statement regarding midfielder Tim Cahill and our club. However, we have no comment at this time regarding him or any other non-New York player," read the Red Bulls statement.
