Thierry Henry admits it is a wish of his to return to Arsenal.
The 37-year old French striker is no longer a New York Red Bulls player after announcing that he will not be returning to the MLS club in 2015.
Henry spent four-and-a-half-years with the Red Bulls, after joining from Barcelona in 2010, but is now intent on a comeback with the Gunners where he holds the club record for goals scored after a dazzling stint in the Premier League.
"Christmas is arriving soon, so it's a wish," Henry told reporters when quizzed on whether or not he would like to return to north London.
"It's not something that's going to happen like this, but it is a wish.
"I do think I still can play.
"It's all a bit blurry right now. It's only a day. We will see what happens."
