Last week, New York Red Bulls said that Thierry Henry would be a week-to-week proposition because of an ongoing Achilles injury and for this week it seems that he is ok.
The former Arsenal and Barcelona star seems to have come through the weekend's 3-0 win over San Jose Earthquakes well - the game in which he broke a goalscoring drought of close to 700 minutes and provided an assist for Luke Rodgers.
Red Bulls head coach Hans Backe has indicated that the Frenchman should be fine for Thursday's meeting with DC United in Washington.
"The reaction from the Saturday game seems to be OK," Backe said. "Seeing him on the pitch [today at training] means he's OK.
"Absolutely, he felt fresh. No problem with the Achilles. I think we can manage [him in] the game on Thursday."
