NYRB captain Henry: We are in better mental shape going into LA Galaxy clash

New York Red Bulls skipper Thierry Henry is confident he and his teammates are in a good mental situation ahead of their first Conference semi-final leg against Supporters' Shield winners LA Galaxy this weekend.

The Red Bulls meet the Galaxy at Red Bull Arena on Sunday and although the Frenchman is expecting a very tough test, he feels that things within the New York group have improved dramatically in the past few weeks.

"We know it's going to be way more difficult against L.A. We've seen it in the league this year; we know it won't be easy,'' said Henry.

"Don't get me wrong: We're in a better situation now the way we're playing, mentally (than before). The team looks much stronger because we're playing as a team.

"I know now everybody's going to say L.A. against the Red Bulls is going to be a big game, but they're the favorites. We're going to try to cause an upset."
