NYRB calm regarding Bolton target Ream

New York Red Bulls general manager Erik Soler has denied claims that Premier League club Bolton Wanderers had agreed a deal with Tim Ream.

Reports suggest that the 24-year old defender had been signed by the Trotters and although Soler admits there is plenty of interest in the player, he made it clear that Ream remains on the New York roster.

"I'd say it is interest from various clubs to sign him up. But there is nothing we think that we are thinking about working,'' Soler told the NY Post.

"There have been some requests about some figures.''

Soler added that Ream, who spent time training with both Bolton and West Bromwich Albion during the winter, would be back at the Red Bulls for the 2012 MLS season.

"I expect him back, yes," he added.
