Major League Soccer has announced its Best XI for the 2014 season.
The bigger names in the line-up include departing MLSers Thierry Henry and Landon Donovan who have, or will, finish up with New York Red Bulls and LA Galaxy respectively.
Frenchman Henry has ended a four-and-a-half-year stint with the Red Bulls but was able to produce another impressive individual performance by helping guide his club to the Eastern Conference final.
Donovan was also included in the Best XI after another stellar season for the Galaxy as he looks ahead to the MLS Cup final against New England Revolution this weekend.
Also in the team is Galaxy captain Robbie Keane along with the other two MLS MVP candidates Lee Nguyen (New England) and Obafemi Martins (Seattle Sounders).
Making up the team after standout campaigns was DC United goalkeeper Bill Hamid, Sounders defender Chad Marshall (who won the Defender of the Year award), Bobby Boswell (DC United), Omar Gonzalez (LA Galaxy), Portland Timbers midfielder Diego Valeri and New York's Golden Boot winner Bradley Wright-Phillips.
