NYRB ace Cahill planning Premier League return

Tim Cahill is reportedly targeting a return to the English Premier League during the MLS offseason.

The New York Red Bulls star, who left Everton for the States last year, could be back in England’s top flight this January in a bid to maintain fitness ahead of the 2014 World Cup.

It is believed that the likes of former club the Toffees, Sunderland, Fulham and Championship side QPR are showing interest in the 33-year old Australian international who indicates he would be open to a move of such sort.

"The move depends on getting my body right. But the plan is for the World Cup,” Cahill said.
