New York Cosmos have secured the services of a pair of young forwards from their inaugural combine ahead of the 2013 North American Soccer League season.
23-year old Peri Marosevic has signed from Croatian club Junak Sinj following stints with FC Dallas and Toronto FC whilst 20-year old Guatemalan Henry Lopez arrives after departing Mexican outfit Tigres UANL.
Cosmos head coach Giovanni Saravese said: "The quality at the combine was impressive and these players showed very well over the weekend.
"They are clearly comfortable with the ball at their feet and they each have decent experience for their ages. These two strengthen us up front and give us different options.
"Peri has tremendous talent on the field and a lot of potential. He's played with very high competition and we recognize that he is determined to get back to that level. After watching him perform like he did at the combine, I can see he's ready to take that step.
"Henry has some really wonderful potential. He's a very dynamic player who's capable of scoring goals."
