Borussia Dortmund midfielder Nuri Sahin has discussed his difficult spell at Liverpool under Brendan Rodgers. Despite three goals in 12 appearances for the Reds, Sahin was unhappy at being played out of position in attacking midfield.
He told TRT: "I went to Liverpool because of my love for the Premier League.
"After scoring a few goals the manager started playing me behind the striker which does not suit my game.
"Despite my love for the club and the fans, I had to leave due to the manager's insistence on playing me in that role."
