Nugent targets more goals for Portsmouth

David Nugent wants to stay on the goal trail and fire Portsmouth to promotion. Former England striker Nugent netted his fifth goal of the season against Doncaster on Saturday but could not prevent Pompey slipping to a 3-2 defeat.

However, the south-coast side remain just four points outside the play-off places following their recent upturn in form and head to Barnsley next weekend.

"I always want to score. I've got five now and I'm hoping to be in double figures by the end of the season," said Nugent.

"Now we've got to look forward to the next game. We'll go to Barnsley and hopefully get three points there."
