Leicester City forward David Nugent is hoping his club makes a move for Doncaster Rovers striker Billy Sharp.
The Foxes have been credited with an interest in the 25-year old, who is also being linked with Fulham, and Nugent has implored his club to go after the 10-goal Rovers attacker.
"We need competition for places.
"I heard we had an offer for Billy Sharp rejected but, if he does come in, then fair play, because he is a goalscorer.
"He is a six-yard-box tap-in player, and it is good to have competition.""More the merrier," Nugent told the Leicester Mercury.
