North Queensland Fury's David Williams is expected to miss the rest of the season after sustaining a serious hamstring injury last night.
The 21-year old suffered the injury in the first half of the 2-1 loss to Brisbane Roar at Suncorp Stadium when sending a long ball forward but catching the leg of Roar midfielder Henrique, tearing his hamstring.
The injury is likely to keep Williams out for six weeks so unless the Fury can make the top six, his season looks over and it comes at a bad time as he was beginning to string together some consistent performances.
