Torino coach Walter Novellino has shrugged off the boo-boys who targeted him during yesterday's 1-0 victory over Atalanta.

Novellino's decision to substitute Alessandro Rosina in the second-half was greeted with an angry gesture from the midfielder and a furious response from fans.

Rosina inflamed the situation by refusing to acknowledge Novellino as he left the pitch, instead going straight to the bench and hiding himself in a Torino shell suit.

Afterwards, Novellino said: "The whistles when making the substitution? The fans are like a beautiful woman: they first say 'long live the king' and perhaps immediately after 'let's smash the king'.

"It happened to Napoleon, it can happen to me ..."
