Serie A new-boys Novara have swooped for Lecce striker Jeda.

Jeda has joined the minnows on a one-year loan deal with the northern club having the option to sign him outright next summer.

The 32-year-old has been in Italy since his 2000 switch to Vicenza.

Since then he has played for a further eight Italian clubs.
