Novara coach Attilio Tesser was upset with their 2-0 defeat to Juventus.
Novara survived numerous chances and created some of their own, but were beaten 2-0 in Turin.
"We thought we could give Juventus a shock, creating three or four important opportunities against Gianluigi Buffon," said the Coach.
"We conceded an early goal with the defence in place, so that made the rest of the match much more difficult for us.
"We were too tense at the start, as I cannot explain that goal any other way. After the break we improved and threatened an equaliser.
"After half an hour I changed the five-man defence that had done so well against Napoli, as we were suffering too much under the Bianconeri's pressure."
