Notts County may shelve their plans to sign Manchester City striker Benjani Mwaruwari.
The Manchester Evening News says Benjani turned down a move to Hull on Monday after the two clubs had agreed a fee worth around £2m.
And possible deals with League Two moneybags side Notts County and West Ham, both fell through.
