Notts County striker Lee Hughes been suffering with decompression sickness since going scuba diving during his honeymoon this summer. The 35 year old is set to undergo head surgery on Friday to resolve the problem.
"He has got to have an operation on his sinuses. It is not major, but I wouldn't say it is minor either because it is his head," said Notts boss Martin Allen.
"After the operation he has got to have a rest for a week, so we hope to have him back with us a week on Friday."
