Notts County striker Luke Rodgers still may be given permission to gain a USA work permit so he can complete a move to MLS club New York Red Bull.

The 28-year old is currently fighting charges of affray and his lawyer is trying to get his second review moved until after July 15 so he is able to sign for the Red Bulls when the transfer window opens.

If that is unsuccessful, however, Rodgers will be forced to stay in England where he has played his entire ten-year career so far.
