Notts County defender Sol Campbell hasn't given up on playing for England again.

"In the latter stages of my time at Portsmouth there were conversations with people around the England camp about bringing me back in and that was nice to know," said Campbell.

"So you never know, you never know. You are being presumptuous. Phone calls can go in, things can happen.

"I remember people said exactly the same when David Beckham went to play for LA Galaxy in the USA but he's still in the England squad and I think County could give the Galaxy a good game.

"So if it's meant to be, then Please God. You should never say never."
