Notts County boss unhappy at thrashing former club

Notts County hammered Cheltenham 5-0 leaving boss Steve Cotterill mixed feelings over the demolition of both his hometown and former club. The League Two champions killed off the game with four first-half goals in the space of 10 minutes.

"It was a great day for Notts County but if I'm honest I feel uncomfortable with the scoreline because of my feelings towards Cheltenham," said Cotterill.

"I have a lot of sympathy for them because Mark Yates is one of my lads. What we have had here I have experienced with my hometown club, so the manner of the defeat is disappointing.
