Nottingham Forest are ready to sign permanently on-loan Aston Villa fullback Nicky Shorey.
The Daily Mail says Forest have lined up a £3million bid to make the loan signing of Shorey permanent.
Shorey, 28, has made just one appearance for Villa this season and does not figure in the plans of manager Martin O'Neill
