Nottingham Forest are upbeat over their bid to sign Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban.
The Nottingham Post says Forest have held further talks over a deal for Grabban in the past few days.
And although the City Ground outfit splashed out nearly £2.7million on Dinamo Zagreb's Hillal Soudani, that “has not lessened their appetite" to recruit Grabban.
Forest are battling Leeds United, although Grabban's wages remain a stumbling block.
Grabban, 30, has not played a competitive game for Cherries in 18 months.
