Nottingham Forest want to bring Derby County boss Nigel Clough back to the City Ground.
The Sunday Mirror says Forest will approach local rivals Derby for permission to speak to their manager about an emotional return to the club where he played - and, more importantly, where his dad Brian remains a legend.
Clough junior may be willing to accept the challenge, despite the fact that his third-placed Rams are flying high in the Championship while Forest are in disarray after the disastrous appointment of ex-England boss Steve McClaren.
The 'young man,' who grew up in his dad's Forest team of the 1980s, still has the club in his heart and could be tempted to make the move.
