English Championship club Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of former MLS striker Robbie Findley.

The 25-year old has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the club following the end of his stint with 2009 MLS Cup champions Real Salt Lake.

Findley was believed to be close to a move to either Wolves or Bolton of the Premier League but has committed himself to Forest, who he will join as soon as the January transfer window opens.

The USA international netted 12 goals in the 2009 MLS season before more than halving his output in 2010.
