Nottingham Forest defender Eric Lichaj is hoping he can continue putting his best foot forward in regards to the USA national team setup.
The 25-year old broke a two-year international drought when he came on during the second half of Friday's 0-0 draw with Scotland in Glasgow and is now looking to add to that by being involved again in Tuesday's meeting with Austria in Vienna.
"It's been a long time since I was in the set-up," Lichaj told reporters after the match. "Hopefully I'll get more time with the team in the future and show what I can do."
The former Aston Villa man added: "Maybe it helped me that I play a certain style that works over here (in England).
"I'd say I'm more aggressive and want to be pressing things all the time and play at 100 miles per hour.
"(Juergen) Klinsmann must like that style because he's called me into the camp and given me a chance."
