Nottingham Forest push to sign Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban

Nottingham Forest are pushing to sign Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban.

The Nottingham Post says Forest boss Aitor Karanka wants to add at least one proven Championship goalscorer to his squad.

And the Cherries are keen to offload the frontman, who spent time on loan at Sunderland and Aston Villa last season.

Grabban scored 12 goals for Sunderland and then fired eight for Villa, helping them reach the Championship play-off final where they were defeated by Fulham.

Norwich's Nelson Oliveira and Middlesbrough's Patrick Bamford are also reportedly targets for Forest.
