Nottingham Forest prospect Virgil Gomes is delighted with his progress in England.

The 16 year-old French youngster has become a YouTube sensation after a wonder goal for Forest's U18 team.

"After the goal, I was on the moon (laughs), but I did not think it would make much noise," Gomes told Foot Mercato.

"In fact, on the official Twitter of the Academy, there was a post saying that I had scored a beautiful goal. I started having a lot of followers and messages, then the club has my goal on its own YouTube page, it has almost 300,000 views!

"I am on the TV channels in France, England, and even in America. But hey, it does not mean I have a big head about it, I have to keep working."
