English Championship club Nottingham Forest have reportedly offered a contract to former Real Salt Lake striker Robbie Findley.
Reports earlier this week indicated that the 25-year old USA international was set to join Premier League outfit Wolves but manager Mick McCarthy revealed that the player had in fact joined Forest.
"We had him here, he came and trained with us, got two or three days, but he's gone to Nottingham Forest," McCarthy told the Express and Star.
"We brought him over but he was injured when he came here so we gave him treatment and then he went to Nottingham Forest, so we'll never know.
"I think he's been offered a contract, whereas we wanted to have a look at him."
Findley's contract at RSL expired at the end of the 2010 season and he was keen to get a move abroad which looks like it may have occurred.
