Nottingham Forest are keen to speak with Manchester United assistant coach Ryan Giggs.
The Daily Star Sunday says Forest owner Fawaz Al Hasawi has been searching for a foreign coach and wants to use Watford as a model for the club.
He was set to appoint former Real Madrid and Spain midfielder Victor, 40, who recently lost his job at Deportivo La Coruna.
But Victor is now joining Olympiakos in Greece – owned by Evangelos Marinakis, who is being tipped to invest in Forest.
That could put Manchester United legend Giggs in the Forest frame – if there is now a policy change at the club.
Giggs is set to make a decision on his future after talks with new United boss Jose Mourinho.
