Nottingham Forest increase bid for Hibernian's Calderwood

English Championship club Nottingham Forest have reportedly increased their bid for Hibernian boss Colin Calderwood.

Calderwood is a target for both Forest and Birmingham City, who are keen to get him in as their assistant, but so far Hibs have rejected all offers for him.

But Sky Sports suggests that Forest boss Steve McClaren is desperate to get his man to the City Ground and will make an increased bid to do so.

"We are trying to negotiate with Hibs but they do not want to lose him. He is a good manager, a good coach and that is why we want him," McClaren said.

"So we are trying to get Colin out of Hibs and it is very difficult. He wants to come here and it is the only place he wants to come.

"There is a lot of competition for Colin but there is a willingness on our side to do it and we want to do it. We have to be patient and hope that Hibs will talk, negotiate and get Colin where he wants to go."
