Nottingham Forest have entered talks for Portsmouth boss Steve Cotterill.
The Mirror says Cotterill is pushing Portsmouth to let him go to Nottingham Forest - and hopes to complete the 'transfer' on Thursday.
Cotterill has been made aware of Forest's interest in making him their new boss and has told Pompey chiefs he wants to move to the fellow Championship strugglers.
The clubs are now trying to thrash out a compensation deal for Cotterill and his number two Stuart Gray - a former City Ground favourite.
