Celtic striker Daryl Murphy has emerged as a strong transfer target for English Championship club Nottingham Forest.
The 28-year old appears to be out of favour under Neil Lennon and according to SunSport is a wanted man by new Forest boss Steve McClaren.
Murphy only arrive at Parkhead last summer from Sunderland but wasn't used much by Lennon last term, starting just nine games in the Scottish Premier League.
The Republic of Ireland international has been told he can leave Celtic and it looks as though a summer exit is on the cards with Forest's City Ground a likely destination.
