Marlon Harewood has been given the opportunity to train with former club Nottingham Forest with a chance to impress management.
The 32-year old is set to come out of contract with Chinese club Guangzhou R&F in January and will train with Forest, for whom he played between 1996 and 2003, before his career took him to West Ham United, Aston Villa and Bkackpool among others.
Forest boss Steve Cotterill confirmed that Harewood would train with the squad giving him a chance to take a closer look at him for the winter transfer market.
"Marlon is without a club at the moment so we have invited him to train with us, which will allow us to have a good look at him," he told the club's official website.
