Khaled al-Rashidi has become the first Kuwaiti footballer to be signed by an English club.

Nottingham Forest have brought in the 25-year old goalkeeper from Al-Arabi and he says he is thrilled and honoured to join the club.

"It's an enormous honour for me to be the first Kuwaiti to play in England," he told the club's official website.

"I'm looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead and getting to know the Championship."
