Manchester City and PSG won't give Real Madrid a free run at Napoli striker Edinson Cavani. It's understood Cavani has given the green light over a move to Madrid, but Real are still to settle on a fee with Napoli.
Real do not want to meet Cavani's €63 million buyout clause and hope to discuss terms involving player swaps.
However, they'll face stiff competition from City and PSG, which are both willing to pay straight cash to match the buyout clause in the Uruguayan's contract.
