Miguel Layun insists he remains a Watford player.

Porto announced last week they had taken up the option to sign the wing-back permanently.

But this morning, speaking with Mexican reporters, Layun insisted he knew nothing about such a deal.

"They say I have signed for Porto, but nothing has been done," said Layun.

"I am waiting for news from my manager. No one called me to officiate continuity and, so far, I have not signed anything."
