Barcelona have renewed their partnership with Peruvian soft drinks brand Big Cola until June 2016, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The Spanish La Liga champions announced a three-year extension of the commercial partnership, which was initially inked in 2010 and sees the soft drinks brand serve as a regional partner of the Catalan giants.
Big Cola will help promote the club across 11 territories in Latin America, including Mexico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Peru, Venezuela, Columbia, Brazil and Ecuador.
The deal gives Big Cola exclusive use of the Barcelona crest on its products and the right to produce and sell co-branded items.
To launch the renewed deal, Barca players Gerard Pique, Cesc Fabregas, Pedro Rodriguez, Alexis Sanchez and Adriano featured in a promotional online advert for Big Cola, which is initially being distributed via YouTube.
Big Cola plans to use Barcelona players in similar advertisements throughout the duration of the agreement.
