Not guilty Redknapp now bookies favourite for England job
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is now odd-on to become England's next manager after he was found not guilty of cheating the public revenue.
Ladbrokes immediately went in from 2/1 to 1/3 with BetVictor and bodog making similar moves.
Within minutes of the verdict all firms were odds-on with Paddy Power's 8/13 the best left once the market had settled down.
Second favourite on best price is now Jose Mourinho at 10/1. Darren Haines, spokesman for Paddy Power, said: "This case was seemingly the only thing that might prevent Harry taking over from Fabio (Capello) as England manager. Now he is not guilty the clamour for Harry to be given 'the second most important job in England' will be enormous."
