Nyron Nosworthy hopes Sunderland can re-sign Manchester United defender Jonny Evans.

"Jonny's signing (on loan in January) was a major turning point," said Nosworthy.

"I'm sure the gaffer has got his targets this summer, and hopefully Jonny is one of them - he improved us as a team but also me as an individual so overall he'd be an excellent permanent signing for us."
