Norwich wrecked Arsenal plans for Sporting Lisbon keeper Rui Patricio

Norwich City may've wrecked Arsenal hopes of landing Sporting Lisbon goalkeeper Rui Patricio.

The Gunners, it was revealed last week, failed with a €10 million offer for the Portugal keeper.

The bid was made in the same week as Sporting agreed a €10 million fee with Norwich City over the sale of Ricky van Wolfswinkel.

Record says Sporting, with the cash from Norwich now banked, are under no pressure to sell again ahead of the summer market.
