England boss Roy Hodgson has told his U21s this week to show him what they can do.
Hodgson is also taking charge of England's U21 clash with Scotland, along with the senior squad.
Norwich City winger Nathan Redmond said: "The gaffer says he is looking for people to impress, that he's looking to the next generation to take the shirts off a few of the senior lads. It's a good chance to impress.
"A few of the lads have come through like Jack Wilshere, Raheem Sterling, Jordan Henderson and Wilfried Zaha. That's due to their own hard work at club level and impressing on the training pitch."
