Norwich City are on the verge of signing Atalanta attacking midfielder James Troisi on a season-long loan.
The 25-year old Australian, who can be deployed as a winger, is being targeted as a replacement for Elliott Bennett who will miss the season with a knee injury.
Troisi kicked off his senior career with Newcastle United back in 2007 but failed to make a senior appearance with the Toon and has since spent time with Turkish duo Genclerbirligi and Kayserispor prior to his 2012 shift to Atalanta.
