Tottenham Hotspur delivered a xonvincing performance to defeat Norwich City 3-0 on Tuesday.
Mauricio Pochettino's Spurs got off to an early lead through Dele Alli who was on hand to volley home after Declan Rudd had only pushed Christian Eriksen's initial attempt into his path.
Tottenham doubled their advantage at Carrow Road on the half-hour mark when Harry Kane sent Rudd the wrong way from the spot after Alli had been clattered in the area by Sebastien Bassong.
The win was rounded out in the 90th minute when Eriksen dispossessed Martin Olsson with the ball falling to Kane who advanced into the area and stroked a lovely left-footed effort beyond the hapless Canaries keeper.
The victory has Spurs sitting third on the table, above Arsenal, and five points behind Leicester City as Alex Neil's Norwich remain 17th and just two points clear of the drop zone.

TALKING POINTS
- Can Spurs win it? They are one of the most consistent sides in the league and have the second best attack and best defence. Why can't they?
- Four losses in a row for Norwich. If Sunderland and Newcastle can start to land some points, they could be in grave danger. Have conceded 14 in their last four in the league.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Tottenham host Watford on Saturday as Norwich search for a win at bottom-placed Aston Villa.

QUOTES CORNER
Norwich boss Neil on the questionable penalty:
I thought the penalty was as soft as I've seen. Dele Alli had a shot at goal, the keeper gathers the ball, the phase of play is over and nobody appeals for a penalty. Nobody was expecting a penalty and all of a sudden he points to the spot.
"I think Sebastien Bassong comes in - the two of them come together - and the fact that he sees that as a penalty for us was really disappointing."
Tottenham's Pochettino on the performance:
"It was fantastic from the beginning.
"Our plan was to try to make it difficult for Norwich. It always helps when you score an early goal and the team showed a lot of maturity and consistency. I felt very proud."
