Norwich City have turned their attention towards Wolfsburg defender Timm Klose after failing to sign Andrea Ranocchia from Inter Milan, according to the Daily Mail.
Canaries manager Alex Neil has made a centre-back signing his top priority this transfer window as he plans to bolster his squad for the potential relegation battle ahead.
Neil went after Inter's Ranocchia but failed in a £7.3million bid and will now make Klose his next defensive target after he completes a deal for Dinamo Zagreb's Ivo Pinto.
Klose is a 27-year-old German-born Swiss international and has been with Wolfsburg since 2013.
